Wanda when she lost Pietro:

Her whole world shattered. She is in agony and disbelief what happened. She felt him die. She felt him draw his last breath. She is enraged. She is broken.

Wanda when she lost Vision:

She just had to kill love of her life so the rest of the universe can be safe. She had to kill the one person that felt like home after Pietro’s death, the one person that gave her comfort and will to live and fight. She had to watch him come back to life and die again. When her time comes, she welcomes death.

This is what love does to you

ever wonder that peter took longer to turn to dust than everyone else because he was the one most scared of dying and tried to fight it back

also bucky was gone in a blink of an eye so ever wonder if he was the one with the least amount of will to live

consider this: the directors of the film didn’t care about consistency as much as they did about giving the ending that extra twang of easily sellable tragedy by making the high school students death scene longer and reading this far into it only services the shitty, sloppy work of paint-by-the-numbers filmmaking, and while this film was crafted technically by the foremost achieving crews, the amount of bullshit you allow the storyteller to put in before you question the work enables them to put less and less effort towards actually trying to create a heartfelt and genuine story until superhero films are basically just a long fight sequence where the directors don’t do anything but collect a paycheque and let the stunt team sweat it out with the camera department
