the thing that makes me the most emotional about the boncas is that dan used to be so self-conscious, he didn’t like the way he looked and he never wanted to stand out. whenever we’d see him in social settings he’d look so small and unassuming, and now we’re seeing him proudly wearing this bright glittery jacket and lighting up the whole room. all eyes on on him and he looks so happy like he doesn’t have a worry in the world i’m just so proud of him
