i just imagined qui gon jinn raising anakin into the jedi code and understanding that because he had a life before the jedi that anakin would need to be trained with more care. qui gon jinn taking anakin to visit his mother. letting anakin mourn her death properly. always reminding him that its okay for him to feel his emotions and not to shut himself away. qui gonn jinn defending anakin in front of the jedi council because those old fools could never understand anakin’s big heart. qui gon being the dad anakin never got to have but the one he derserved. im so sad now bye
