  • Slytherins often feel like they have too much responsibility on their shoulders.
  • Common Slytherin Boggarts: Failure, death, being trapped, wasps/bees, being buried alive, and being alone.
  • Slytherins are more likely to develop OCD or Depression.
  • Some common Slytherin talents are acting, writing, playing piano, and dancing. Things that require great skill and practice.
  • Slytherins are firm believers in, “If you want something done right, you’ve got to do it yourself.”
  • Slytherin’s can’t keep a secret unless it’s their own, in which case they guard it with their lives.
  • Slytherin’s don’t “Forgive and Forget.” If you did it once, you can do it again.
  • Most Slytherins can be really friendly. (To those people who deserve it.)
  • Slytherins fear facing you after you’ve seen them cry.
  • Slytherins aren’t assholes, people are just too sensitive.
  • Slytherins are likely to come up with ‘What if?’ scenarios. These thoughts might even keep them up at night.
  • Slytherins hold grudges. They may not bring up what you did, but they’ll never forget.
  • Slytherins enjoy horror movies. But, less so if they’re watching them alone.
  • Slytherins don’t like relying on other people.
  • Slytherins can’t stand it when people ask stupid questions, especially when the answer is obvious.
  • Slytherins like to push the limits and see how much they can get away with.
  • When a Slytherin cries, it’s probably from stress, not sadness.
  • Slytherins fear failure.
  • Slytherins are their own worst critics.
  • Slytherins are often very misunderstood.
  • Slytherins keep arguing even when they know they’re wrong.
  • It’s typical of a Slytherin to struggle with religion; they have difficulty putting faith into things that they can’t explain.
  • Slytherins don’t get mad; they get even.
  • A Slytherin won’t forgive you for causing them pain until they’re sure you’ve recieved just as much (or more).
  • Sometimes Slytherins keep fighting long after they’ve forgotten what they were fighting for/about.
  • Slytherins are likely the most stubborn and persistent type of people.
  • When upset, Slytherins detach themselves from everything. If someone asks what’s wrong, they’ll lash out.
  • Many Slytherins use music and lyrics to express themselves.
  • Slytherins hate to be told, “You don’t understand” or having their competence questioned. 
  • Slytherins have an odd interest in the mentally ill/disturbed.
  • Slytherins tend to believe that they’re never good enough.

If I ever had any doubts about being a Slytherin, this post just obliterated them. I’m a Slytherin through and through.
