I am genuinely sobbing looking over the photos from tonight I can’t believe I finally met them.

At first I didn’t say anything because I was literally holding back tears (like Phil said hello to me and I just COULDNT REPLY I like forgot how to talk for a second), but thank god I did manage to pull myself together and I said something like “I can’t believe you’re real.” And Dan said, “Be glad we’re not stood up because we’re like obnoxiously tall. Nobody needs to experience that.”

And then I told Dan about how I’d dropped out of college the year before and felt worthless and knowing that he’d gone through the same thing had really helped me during that time, and then I told Phil I’d been subscribed to him since 2009 (he was the second youtuber I ever subscribed to, after nigahiga, though I was a much more casual fan at the time) and he and Dan both lit up it was the cutest thing (look at my heart eyes howell photos for that moment) and Phil said “Thanks for sticking with me all these years.”

And then I GOT TO TOUCH THEIR HAIR. (I asked of course.) They both have really lovely hair but Phil’s is softer – I think Dan uses more hairspray than him.

AND DAN’S DIMPLES. IN PERSON THEY ARE JUST. INDESCRIBABLY ADORABLE. Honestly I just kept staring at his dimples.

And when Phil smiles his whole face lights up and obviously I already knew that from seeing him in videos and stuff but it’s just – OTHERWORLDLY in person. He is not a human he is an angel I s2g.

I forgot to give them my gift so I just gave that to a security guard who said she’d take it over to them.

I’m just still in absolute shock I’ve loved these boys for long and I cried when I didn’t get them in the vidcon signings lottery and I was afraid to even hope I’d ever have a chance to meet them. I was waiting in the cold at 3 in the morning to be near the front of the line and it was 100% worth it. I’m dead tired, I haven’t slept in…. 23 hours? And I’m happier than I’ve ever been in my life. This is just the best day ever. Goodnight ❤
